Being a Navy brat all my life has really made me into quite the proud American. I love my country, but I also love the men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving it.
Last year, I participated in a program that sent a card and a pack of Twizzlers to our deployed troops. It made me really happy to do something to those serving overseas, so I decided that this year I might try reach more people in a similar way by sending Christmas cards to soldiers. I think it will be a really great thing to do and it will possibly make the day of a wounded solider spending Christmas away from home. They need support more than ever. I’m going to try to handmake some, but I’ll also try to send as many as I can.
